About Me

I am a mother, wife, and business owner, beginning my online garter and charm business in 2000. My friends call me Martha (Stewart) because I do many things. Sewing is something I've done since I was in high school. When I went to school... we all learned how to cook, and sew, it was a must! I have two beautiful daughters who make each day brighter, and worth living. I enjoy cooking and time with friends/family, both go together very well :). I love just about anything chocolate, and everyone who knows me, knows that! Exercising every day is a way for me to continue enjoying that little bit of heaven every now and then.


In my spare time, I spend time with my husband and family in our RV, traveling south to the warmer weather (usually), but do plan to travel west, one day soon. We have very busy lives, lots of musical instruments/lessons, cheerleading and theater groups, which all need me... mostly for transportation purposes :) Photography is another passion. I would like to learn more about the manual features of my camera and how to use them... before the camera becomes obsolete. We like to craft and have dedicated an entire room in our basement  to it. We've made it a very comfortable and accommodating place, where any creative imagination could run wild, and create some very cool things. My youngest now insists that scraps of this, and pieces of that, are never thrown away... instead recycled into wonderful new things.


We live in Wisconsin, so being able to adapt to one day being 90º and hours later being 60º, is something I've grown oddly accustomed to. As I get older, I HATE the cold, and I HATE the heat. A climate between 65º and 75º would be just perfect, every day. I am not sure what geographical area I might need to live in order to enjoy that perfection. I am not easy to please (husband strongly agrees). If we couldn't build a snowman, throw a snowball, or ice skate in the winter, I would miss it.
